    This report is the sixth edition of a study of the market for antimony and its compounds in Russia and the CIS.

    The purpose of the research is to analyze the market for antimony and its compounds.

    The object of research is antimony ores and concentrates, antimony trioxide, antimony metal.

    This work is a desk study. The sources of information were data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSGS), statistics of railway traffic of the Russian Federation, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the Statistics Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, data from UNdata, USGS, and the Infomine database. Also involved were data from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as Internet sites of enterprises producing and consumers of antimony.

    Chronological scope of the study: 1997-2019; forecast - up to 2025

    Geography of the research: Russia, Ukraine - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market; Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Belarus - general retrospective market analysis; the rest of the world - an overview of market dynamics and characteristics.

    Research volume: the report consists of 7 parts, contains 119 pages, including 41 tables, 41 figures and 1 appendix.

    The first chapter of the report is devoted to a brief description of the world antimony market, provides data on world reserves of antimony, production of antimony in concentrates, main producing and consumer countries, as well as world prices for antimony in 2000-2019. Particular attention is paid to the export-import operations of the countries of the world with antimony concentrates, antimony trioxide and metallic antimony.

    The second chapter of the report describes in detail the mineral resource base of antimony in the CIS (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan), provides data on reserves and main deposits.

    The third chapter presents data on the extraction and processing of antimony raw materials to obtain marketable products. This section presents the dynamics of the production of antimony in concentrate and marketable antimony products in the CIS (1994-2019), gives a characteristic of the technologies for obtaining antimony products and the requirements for their quality. In addition, a description of the main enterprises-producers of antimony concentrates and commercial antimony in the CIS countries (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan) is given. Also, the characteristics of new projects aimed at the production of antimony products by CIS enterprises are given.

    The fourth chapter is devoted to foreign trade operations (2001-2019) with antimony products (concentrate, antimony trioxide, metallic antimony) of the CIS countries (Russia, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus).

    In the fifth chapter, an analysis of export-import prices for the products under consideration is carried out, as well as the current prices for commercial antimony products in the Russian market.

    The sixth chapter describes the consumption of antimony and its compounds in Russia / CIS. This chapter shows the dynamics of antimony consumption in Russia (2001-2019), data on the structure of antimony consumption (including secondary metal) in Russia, consumers of the products under consideration. It also shows the consumption of antimony in the CIS countries (Ukraine, Kazakhstan), the main consumer companies.

    In the final, seventh chapter, the existing trends in the development of the market for antimony and its compounds in the CIS are described and a forecast for the production of antimony by the CIS countries for the period up to 2025 is given.

    The appendix contains the addresses and contact information of the enterprises producing antimony products.

    Target audience of the study:

    - Antimony market participants - producers, consumers, traders;

    - potential investors.

    The proposed study claims to be a reference manual for marketing services and specialists making managerial decisions working in the market of antimony products.
