    This report is the second edition of the study of the bismuth and bismuth products market in Russia, the EAEU countries and the world.

    Market monitoring has been conducted since 2001.

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the market of bismuth-containing raw materials and commercial bismuth products.

    The objects of the study are bismuth-containing concentrates, bismuth lead, metallic bismuth, bismuth oxide.

    This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; the SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.

    Chronological framework of the study: 2001-2024; forecast - 2025-2030.

    Geography of the study: the world market is considered briefly, the market of the Russian Federation - in detail.

    The report consists of 7 parts, contains 60 pages, including 12 figures and 19 tables.

    The first chapter of the report is devoted to the mineral resource base and bismuth production abroad. It provides information on the world production of bismuth (2000-2024), prices on the world market, the volume of world trade in the metal (the main exporting and importing countries in 2009-2024). The areas of bismuth consumption are also considered.

    The second chapter of the report is devoted to the mineral resource base of bismuth in the Russian Federation. The chapter provides brief characteristics of the deposits of this metal.

    The third chapter provides estimated data on Russian production of bismuth in concentrates in 2012-2024, and provides characteristics of the main manufacturing enterprises. Data on manufacturers of bismuth-containing products in Russia and the EAEU countries are also presented.

    The fourth chapter analyzes Russia's foreign trade operations with bismuth-containing concentrates, bismuth lead, metallic bismuth and bismuth oxide in 2012-2024. Data on the volumes of export and import of the studied products by country, supplier and recipient are provided.

    The fifth chapter is devoted to Russian import prices for metallic bismuth in 2012-2024.

    The sixth chapter estimates the "visible" consumption of bismuth in Russia in 2010-2024. The structure of bismuth use is presented, the main areas of bismuth use are given, and individual consumer companies in different industries are listed.

    The seventh chapter provides a forecast for bismuth consumption in Russia until 2030.

    The appendix provides contact information for manufacturers and consumers of bismuth-containing products.

    The target audience of the study:

    - bismuth market participants - manufacturers, consumers, traders;

    - potential investors.

    The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing departments and specialists making management decisions working in the markets for these products.
