This report is the second edition of a market research for octane-raising fuel additives (MTBE / ETBE, MTAE, MMA) in Russia.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian market of octane-raising additives to fuel (MTBE / ETBE, MTAE, MMA).
The objects of investigation are: methyl-t-butyl and ethyl-tert-butyl esters (MTBE and ETBE), methyl-t-amyl ether (MTAE) and monomethyl-aniline (MMA).
This work is a desk study. As sources of information, we used data from the Federal State Statistics Service, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, and official statistics on rail transportation of the Russian Federation; The materials of the sectoral and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as Internet sites of the enterprises producing the products in question were used.
In addition, when working on the report, interview materials were used with employees of enterprises that produce and use these products.
Chronological framework of the study: 2008-2016; Forecast - 2017-2025
Geography of the study: The Russian Federation - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market.
The report consists of 8 parts, contains 74 pages, including 13 figures, 20 tables and 2 annexes.
In the first chapter of the report, a brief description of the main antiknock additives and additives to fuel is given.
In the second chapter, the capacities for the production of octane-raising additives to fuel in Russia are estimated.
The third chapter considers raw materials for the production of octane-raising additives to fuel used in Russia, as well as the direction of supply of raw materials for the production of the products in question.
The fourth chapter is devoted to the production of octane-raising additives to fuel (MTBE / ETBE, MTAE, MMA) by Russian enterprises. Data are presented on the requirements for the quality of the products, the volume of production and the current state of the largest manufacturing enterprises.
In the fifth chapter of the report, foreign trade operations with octane-raising additives to fuel (MTBE, MTAE, MMA) during the analyzed period of time were analyzed. The volumes and directions of export-import supplies are considered, the main trends are noted.
The sixth chapter presents data on the dynamics of domestic and export-import prices for the products in question in 2008-2017.
The seventh chapter is devoted to the consumption of octane-raising additives to fuel (MTBE / ETBE, MTAE, MMA). In this section the production-consumption balances are presented, the main enterprises-consumers are presented.
The eighth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian market of octane-raising additives to fuel (MTBE / ETBE, MTAE, MMA) for the period up to 2025.
The appendices contain information on the production capacity of the products in question in Europe, as well as targeted and contact information of major Russian enterprises producing octane-raising additives to fuel.
