This report is a market study of solid sorbents used for purification of gases.
The purpose of the study – analysis of current standing of market of solid sorbents for purification of gases.
The object of the study are activated carbon, natural and synthetic zeolites, silica gel and calcium hydroxide.
The chronological scope of the study: 2010-2016
Geography research: Russian Federation – a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market, the world market – a brief description.
The report consists of 5 sections, contains 160 pages, including 26 figures, 62 tables, and 2 appendices.
This work is a Desk study. As information sources, we used data of Rosstat (Rosstat), Federal customs service of Russia, statistics of railage, sectoral and regional press, as well as Internet-sites of company-producers and consumers of the products.
In addition, while working on a report conducted telephone interviews of market participants.
The first Chapter is devoted to a brief review of world market of solid sorbents for gas cleaning.
The second Chapter describes the main types of sorbents used in processes of purification of gases, given their main qualitative characteristics and properties.
The third Chapter presents data on the technology of adsorptive purification of gases, the basic industry, which is currently used by the studied sorbents.
The fourth Chapter is devoted to research of market of solid sorbents for gas cleaning in Russia.
It presents data on volumes of production, the main producers and the range of products. Also in this Chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with sorbents for gas cleaning in Russia, data on volumes and directions of supplies as well as the main exporters and importers of the products.
In addition, this Chapter presents data on prices in the domestic market and on export and import prices in the target products.
Also, this Chapter includes data on the balance of production-consumption of sorbents for gas cleaning in Russia.
In the final, fifth Chapter of the report the conclusions about the main results of the study revealed tendencies of the market development of sorbents for gas cleaning, determined the main possible points of growth of this market.
Appendix 1 lists the technical characteristics of sorbents for the purification of Russian producers.
In Appendix 2 the addresses and contact information of Russian manufacturers and consumers of activated carbon, natural and synthetic zeolites and silica gel for the purification of gases.
