This report is the first edition of the study of the market of dust suppression reagents in the coal industry in Russia, the EAEU and the world.
The objective of the study is to analyze the current state of the coal dust suppression reagent market and forecast its development through 2030.
The object of the study is coal dust suppression reagents – reagents based on calcium and magnesium chlorides, as well as multicomponent compositions.
The chronological scope of the study: 2019-2025, 2026-2030 – forecast.
The study covers: Russia – a comprehensive detailed market analysis, other EAEU countries – a general market analysis, and the global market – a brief description.
This work is a desk study. The following sources of information were used: data from statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international databases of the UN (UNdata), World Bank, and Eurostat; International and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); Unified Procurement Information System; rail transportation statistics; SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of manufacturers and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS) patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
The report consists of 9 parts and contains 121 pages, including 48 tables, 15 figures, and an appendix.
The first chapter of the report is devoted to a brief overview of the global dust suppression reagent market.
The second chapter describes the main methods of coal dust control.
The third chapter of the report is devoted to the legislative regulation of dust suppression measures in the coal industry. Chapter four provides a classification of dust suppression reagents and outlines the quality requirements for manufactured products.
Chapter five is devoted to the production of dust suppression reagents in the EAEU. It presents data on manufacturers of these products in Russia and Kazakhstan, the range and volumes of manufactured products, delivery routes and volumes, and the key financial and economic indicators of their companies.
Chapter six of the report analyzes data on foreign trade transactions involving dust suppression reagents in Russia (2019-2025), identifying the main delivery routes and volumes for these products.
Chapter seven of the report presents data on domestic prices for dust suppression reagents in Russia, as well as the dynamics of export and import prices (2019-2025).
The eighth chapter of the report analyzes domestic consumption of coal dust suppression agents in the Russian Federation. It provides a general overview of the Russian coal industry from 2007 to 2025 and identifies the largest consumers of these products.
The final, ninth chapter of the report presents a forecast for coal dust suppression agent consumption in Russia through 2030.
The Appendix to the report provides contact information for dust suppression agent manufacturers in the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan.
Target audience of the study:
- Coal dust suppression agent market participants – manufacturers, consumers, and traders;
- Potential investors.
This study is intended to serve as a reference tool for marketing departments and decision-makers working in the dust suppression agent market.
