This report is the first edition of the market research projects for the modernization and increase in the capacity for the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia and CIS countries.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the declared projects for the modernization and increase in the capacity for the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia and the CIS countries.
This work is a desk study. The sources of information were data from the scientific, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, Internet sites, data from the Rosstat and statistical committees of the CIS countries, the results of a survey of a number of domestic experts.
Chronological framework of the study: 2017-2018, the prospects for 2019-2030.
Geography of research: Russian Federation, CIS countries.
The report consists of 2 sections, contains 46 pages, including 15 tables, 2 figures and 2 annexes.
The first section contains a description of the market of mineral and chemical fertilizers in the CIS countries (by countries). In particular, a brief description of the main enterprise-producers is given: the capacities (in physical weight and in terms of 100% of the useful substance) for the production of fertilizers, the types of products produced, the availability of the main types of raw materials (whether there is import dependence).
In addition, the statistics of production volumes of the products in question by enterprises in 2017-2018 are presented.
The second section of the review contains a list of promising projects (by countries and enterprises), the implementation of which is possible in the next 10 years. The prospects for the sub-sectors of mineral fertilizers in each of the CIS countries presented are also briefly reviewed, with an assessment of the final capacity in the case of the implementation of the planned investment projects in comparison with the current situation.
Appendix 1 gives the conversion factors for the main types of fertilizers from the physical weight to 100% of the useful substance.
Appendix 2 presents a summary table for all CIS countries and the largest projects to increase the capacity for the production of mineral fertilizers (by enterprises).
The table shows the companies implementing the project, the enterprise (and its location), on which the project is being implemented, a brief description of the project (change in production capacity at the end of the project implementation period), investments, implementation dates.
Target audience of the study:
- participants of the market of mineral and chemical fertilizers in Russia - researchers, developers, producers, consumers;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims the role of reference for professionals making management decisions working in this market.
