This review is a study of the PVC film market in the Russian Federation.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the Russian PVC film market.
The object of study is polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films.
The work presented is a desk research. Rosstat data, international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map) were used as information sources; Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); Unified information system in the field of procurement; railway transport statistics; VLSI databases; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the products under study; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), FIPS patent database; Infomine database, etc.
Chronological scope of the study: 2017-2022; forecast – 2023-2027
Geography of the study: Russian Federation – comprehensive detailed market analysis.
Distinctive features of this study are:
- the presence of a brief description of the macro-prerequisites for market development, as well as an analysis of trends, macro- and microfactors affecting the production and consumption of PVC films;
- a brief overview of the subsegments of the Russian market of polymer films (PP, PA, HDPE, etc.);
The review consists of 5 chapters, contains 102 pages, including 35 tables and 28 figures.
The first chapter provides general information about the PVC film market in the Russian Federation, as well as a description of other subsegments of the polymer film market (PP, PA, HDPE, etc.). The supply of raw materials, production and consumption of PVC films were studied in detail, and appropriate conclusions were drawn.
The second chapter is devoted to a description of the current state and development prospects of the largest manufacturing companies of PVC films (soft and hard) for various purposes.
The third and fourth chapters analyze Russian foreign trade operations with PVC films in 2017-2022, and give a forecast until 2027. In particular, the main directions of supplies, the largest enterprises exporting and importing PVC films, and the type structure of supplies are presented.
The fifth chapter presents the historical dynamics of consumption of PVC films in 2017-2022. and forecast for the period until 2027.
Target audience of the study:
- participants in the polymer (in particular, PVC) films market - manufacturers, consumers, traders;
- potential investors.
The proposed study purports to be a reference guide for marketing services and specialists working in the polymer film market.
