    This report is the third edition of the study of the aniline market in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the aniline market in Russia, the EAEU countries (which, in addition to Russia, include Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan), as well as the world market for this product.

    The object of the study is aniline, which is an organic compound of the aromatic series with the chemical formula C6H5NH2.

    This work is a desk study. The sources of information used were data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of Russia (until 2022); Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, websites of enterprises-producers and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), FIPS patent database; InfoMine database, etc.

    Chronological framework of the study: 1997-2023; assessment 2024, forecast - 2025-2035.

    Geography of the study: Russia - a comprehensive detailed analysis of the market; the world and the EAEU countries - a general retrospective analysis of the market.

    The report consists of 7 parts, contains 81 pages, including 20 figures, 24 tables and 3 appendices.

    The first chapter is devoted to the global aniline market. The section provides data on capacities, international trade in this product and its sales prices, consumption and development prospects of the global market for the products in question.

    The second chapter presents information on the technologies used in the industry to produce aniline, the production capacity of this product in the EAEU countries, and the main types of raw materials for its production (nitrobenzene).

    The third chapter is devoted to the analysis of aniline production in Russia. It presents the quality requirements for manufactured products, tracks the dynamics of their production, and provides data on production volumes in 2014-2024, describes the leading manufacturers of the product in the Eurasian Economic Union and their current status.

    The fourth chapter analyzes foreign trade operations with aniline in Russia in the period 2014-2024. Data on the volumes of export and import of the studied products are provided, the geographical structure of supplies is presented, and information on individual exporters and importers of aniline is analyzed.

    The fifth chapter provides information on the level of the cost of aniline on the domestic market of Russia, and also analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for the product in 2014-2024.

    The sixth chapter is devoted to the consumption of aniline in Russia. This section presents the balance of production and consumption of the studied products, presents the structure of their application in Russia, considers the main areas of aniline use, and describes the largest enterprises-consumers of this product.

    The seventh and final chapter is devoted to the forecast of production and consumption of aniline in Russia for the period up to 2035.

    The appendices present the main characteristics of the Russian aniline market in 1997-2013, provide contact information on Russian aniline producers, as well as the largest consumers of this product, processing third-party products.

    The target audience of the study:

    – participants in the aniline market and raw materials for the production of this type of product;

    – potential investors.

    The proposed study claims to be a reference guide for marketing departments and decision-makers working in the chemical products market.
