This report is the sixth edition of the study of the cement market in Russia.
The cement market has been monitored since 1997.
The purpose of the study is to analyze the cement market in Russia.
The object of the study is cement of various grades and its consumption.
This work is a desk study. The sources of information used were data from the statistical committees of the EAEU countries (including Rosstat, the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan); international UN databases (UNdata), World Bank, Eurostat; international and European trade data (UN Comtrade, Trade Map); the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (until 2022); the Unified Information System in the Sphere of Procurement; railway transportation statistics; SBIS database; foreign specialized companies; annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities; industry and regional press, conference materials, Internet sites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of the studied products; scientific and technical literature (elibrary, etc.), the FIPS patent database; the InfoMine database, etc.
The chronological framework of the study: 2006-2024 (when assessing the production and consumption of cement in the country as a whole) and 2015-2024 (consumption structures); forecast - 2025-2030.
Research geography: Russian Federation.
The report consists of 5 parts, contains 207 pages, including 55 tables, 32 figures and 2 appendices.
The first chapter of the report presents data on cement production in Russia in 2006-2024 as a whole, as well as for individual Federal Districts. It shows the production of cement by holdings, as well as leading Russian enterprises. The change in cement production in the country by dry and wet methods is analyzed. Data on new enterprises that appeared in the country during the analyzed period is presented. The state of a number of cement enterprises included in various holdings is analyzed, and data on new projects in the industry is presented.
The second chapter of the report is devoted to the analysis of foreign trade operations with cement in Russia in 2006-2024. The chapter analyzes the volumes and regional structure of cement exports and imports, and provides data on large importers and main exporters of cement.
The third chapter of the report analyzes the situation with cement prices in Russia, including on the domestic market. An overview of export-import prices for cement is provided.
The fourth chapter analyzes cement consumption in Russia: the balance of cement production and consumption in the country for the period 2006-2024 is given, the industry and regional structure of consumption is presented, and the seasonality of supplies is analyzed.
The fifth chapter of the report presents a forecast for the development of the cement industry until 2030.
The appendices provide contact information for manufacturing and consumer enterprises.
