This report is the fourth edition of the study of the potassium sulfate market in Russia, the CIS and the world.
The purpose of the study is to obtain detailed information about the current state and prospects for the development of the potassium sulfate market in order to understand the market situation.
The object of research is potassium sulfate.
The work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, statistics committees of the CIS countries, customs statistics of the Russian Federation and Ukraine, the site of foreign trade operations UNdata, statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation were used; used materials from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of manufacturing enterprises and consumers of potassium sulfate.
Chronological scope of the study: 2003-2021; forecast for the period up to 2030
Research geography: Russian Federation, Ukraine - a comprehensive detailed market analysis, other CIS countries and the world - a general retrospective analysis of markets.
The report consists of 7 parts, contains 113 pages, including 26 figures, 39 tables and 2 appendices.
The first chapter provides a description of the global potassium sulfate market, describes the main global producers, and briefly describes new projects for the production of potassium sulfate in the world. The chapter contains a description of the dynamics of world trade in potassium sulfate and the price of this product.
The second chapter of the report provides information on the raw materials needed for the production of potassium sulfate, the production volumes of the main raw materials in the CIS countries. Data on the main suppliers of raw materials, directions and volumes of supplies are also presented. In addition, the chapter discusses the technology for the production of potassium sulfate.
The third chapter of the report is devoted to the production of potassium sulfate in the CIS countries in 2003-2021. This section of the report provides statistical and estimated data on the production of potassium sulfate in the CIS. In addition, the quality indicators of the products obtained are presented. Also here is a description of most major manufacturers.
The fourth chapter provides data on foreign trade operations with potassium sulfate in Russia (in 2003-2021) and Ukraine (in 2003-2020) - supply volumes, main suppliers and consumers. In addition, foreign trade operations with potassium sulfate in other CIS countries in 2003-2021 were considered.
The fifth chapter is devoted to the analysis of prices in the domestic Russian and Ukrainian markets in 1998-2021. Also analyzed are data on changes in export-import prices for products in Russia and Ukraine.
The sixth chapter of the report examines the consumption of potassium sulfate in Russia and Ukraine. This section presents the production-consumption balance of these products, describes the current state of the largest Russian consumers.
The seventh chapter provides a forecast for the development of the Russian potassium sulfate market for the period up to 2030.
The appendices contain addresses and contact information of enterprises producing and consuming potassium sulfate in Russia and worldwide.
Target audience of the study:
- Potassium sulfate market participants - producers, consumers, suppliers;
- potential investors.
The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and management decision makers working in the potassium sulfate and mineral fertilizer markets.
