    This report is the seventh edition of the study of the market for manganese, manganese ferroalloys (ferromanganese, silicomanganese) and metallic manganese, as well as raw materials for their production in Russia and the CIS countries.

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the markets for manganese raw materials, ferromanganese, silicomanganese and metallic manganese in Russia and the CIS countries

    The object of research is manganese ores and concentrates, ferromanganese (blast-furnace and electroferromanganese), silicomanganese, metallic manganese.

    This work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, customs statistics of the Russian Federation, statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics, data from UN data, industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, websites of manufacturers and consumers of manganese products.

    Chronological scope of the study: 2000-2022, forecast - 2023-2030.

    Research geography: Russian Federation, Ukraine - a comprehensive detailed market analysis, other CIS countries - a brief market analysis.

    The report consists of 4 sections, contains 165 pages, including 81 tables, 43 figures and 1 appendix.

    The first section of the report describes the raw material base of manganese in the CIS countries: Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia, describes the main deposits and the degree of their development.

    The second section of the report describes the current state of the market for manganese raw materials in the CIS. Data are given on the volumes of manganese ore mining in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Georgia, exports and imports of manganese raw materials, production-consumption balances of Mn raw materials in Russia and Ukraine in 2000-2022.

    The third section of the report focuses on the markets for ferromanganese, silicomanganese and metallic manganese.

    In chapter 3.1. requirements for the quality of ferroalloys containing manganese in the CIS are given.

    In chapter 3.2. describes the situation with the production of ferromanganese, silicomanganese and metallic manganese in the CIS, incl. ferroalloy output dynamics, current state of the main producers, new production projects.

    In chapter 3.3. data on the volume of foreign trade operations with ferromanganese, silicomanganese and metallic manganese in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries are given, Russian export-import prices for manganese alloys are analyzed.

    In chapter 3.4. the consumption of manganese ferroalloys in Russia and Ukraine in 2000-2022 is considered.

    The fourth section of the report provides a forecast for the development of the manganese alloys market in Russia until 2030, taking into account the development trends of the Russian ferrous metallurgy.

    The appendix contains contact information for manufacturers of manganese alloys in the CIS.

    Target audience of the study:

    - participants of the manganese market - producers, consumers, traders;

    - potential investors.

    The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and specialists making managerial decisions working in the market of manganese-containing products: concentrates, ferroalloys.
