    This report is the second edition of ball clay market research for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in the CIS.

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the market for refractory and refractory ball clays suitable for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in the CIS.

    The objects of research are kaolinite refractory and refractory ball clays suitable for the production of building ceramics and refractory products.

    The peculiarity of this study is that it covers not only the Russian market, but also the markets of other CIS countries.

    This work is a desk study. As sources of information, we used data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the UN data database, and also used materials from the industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of issuers of securities, Internet sites manufacturers of refractory and refractory ball clays.

    Chronological scope of the study: 2010-2018; forecast - 2019-2025

    Research geography: Russian Federation, Ukraine - a detailed comprehensive market analysis, other CIS countries - a general retrospective market analysis.

    The report consists of 8 parts, contains 117 pages, including 55 tables, 31 figures and 1 appendix.

    The first chapter of the report provides information about the mineral resource base of refractory and refractory ball clays in the CIS countries, the structure of reserves and the characteristics of the main deposits.

    The second chapter discusses the ball clay quality requirements of the ceramic industry.

    The third chapter is devoted to the production of ball clays for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in the CIS countries in 2010-2018. This section of the report provides statistical and estimated data on output, regional production structure.

    The fourth chapter describes the current state of producers of refractory and refractory ball clays in Russia and Ukraine. The data on the capacities and volumes of production of ball clay raw materials, the largest consumers of the company's products, the financial condition of the company.

    The fifth chapter provides data on foreign trade in ball clays for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in Russia in 2007-2018, in Ukraine and Belarus in 2010-2018. Information is provided on the regional structure of export-import supplies, the main exporters and importers of these products.

    The sixth chapter analyzes data on changes in export-import prices for ball clay for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in Russia in 2007-2018.

    The seventh chapter is devoted to the consumption of refractory and refractory ball clays for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in Russia. The chapter presents the balance of production and consumption of these products in 2010-2018, considers the structure of consumption of refractory and refractory ball clays. The chapter describes the current state of the main sectors of consumption of refractory and refractory ball clays in Russia and presents the main consumers of ball clay raw materials and the current state of the largest of them. The chapter also describes the consumption of refractory and refractory ball clays in Ukraine in 2010-2018.

    The eighth chapter of the report is devoted to the prospects and forecast of the development of the ball clay market for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in Russia.

    The appendix contains contact information for enterprises producing refractory and refractory ball clays for the production of building ceramics and refractory products in Russia.

    The target audience of the study:

    - market participants of refractory and refractory ball clays - manufacturers, consumers, traders;
