    This report focuses on market research of chrome raw materials in the CIS and forecast of its development. 
    The report consists of nine chapters, contains 106 pages, including 32 tables, 23 figures, as well as the Annex with the basic contact information of company-producers. 
    As information sources, data of the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation (FSSS of the Russian Federation), Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation (FCS of the Russian Federation); statistics of domestic rail transport of the Russian Federation, the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, the State Customs Committee of Ukraine, the U.S. Geological Survey, industry conferences, directories, periodicals, regional press, web sites, annual and quarterly reports of companies have been used, as well as consultation with experts. 
    In the first chapter of the report an overview of the world market of chrome raw materials is given: reserves and production volumes of chrome ores; description of developed deposits, methods of production, dynamics and development trends of world market of chrome ores. 
    The second chapter is devoted to analysis of mineral resources base of chrome in the CIS. This chapter provides information about the recorded balance deposits of chrome and companies developing them. 
    The third chapter covers the requirements of various industries for the properties of chrome ores. 
    Chapter four deals with mining of chrome ores in the CIS. It presents enrichment technology of chrome ores in the CIS, and data on the production of chrome ores in the CIS for 16 years (1995-2010). 
    The fifth chapter presents data on the main company-producers - a brief description of the enterprises, their dynamics of production, import and export of chrome ores in 1995-2010. 
    The sixth chapter describes the companies, preparing commercial development of deposits of chrome in the coming years. 
    The seventh chapter is devoted to analysis of foreign trade in chrome resources in the CIS in 1995-2010. The chapter analyses the dynamics and structure of export and import of chrome ores, as well as average import prices on this raw material. 
    In the eighth chapter of the report consumption of chrome raw materials in the CIS, supply-demand balance of the product, the structure of consumption by sectors of industry is described and analyzed. 
    In the final, ninth chapter of the report forecast of development of the market of chrome raw materials for the period up to 2015 is presented. 
    The Annex includes addresses and contact data of major companies mining chrome ores.
