This report is the 1st edition of the study of the world market of zirconium dioxide and  zirconium carbonate.

Market monitoring has been ongoing since 2010.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the world market of zirconium dioxide and carbonate.

This work is a desk study. As sources of information, we used data from the International Association of Zirconium Producers, world trade data, and also websites of manufacturers of these chemical compounds.

This review is the most comprehensive among those presented on the information market on this topic, and claims to be a reference guide. Using data without additional thorough analysis may lead to erroneous management decisions by marketing services and specialists working in the market of these zirconium compounds.

A distinctive feature of this report is that it presents an estimated analysis of the market for consumption and production of zirconium dioxide and carbonate, which avoids errors made by the authors of similar studies conducted by other companies.

Chronological scope of the study: 2010-2020; the forecast is 2020-2028.

    Geography of research: world.

The report consists of 8 parts, contains 101 pages, including 24 tables, 36 figures.

The first chapter provides background information on zirconium dioxide and carbonate.

The second chapter is devoted to the raw material base of zirconium dioxide and carbonate. The dynamics of world production of zircon and baddeleyite concentrate in 2010-2019 is presented. The main global manufacturers of zircon concentrate are briefly described.

The third chapter discusses projects to organize new production of zirconium dioxide, including in Russia.

The fourth chapter provides information on the production of zirconium dioxide in the world. Particular attention is paid to production in China, as the main producer. Major global manufacturers are described.

The fifth chapter is devoted to the global trade in dioxide (including baddeleyite concentrate) and zirconium carbonate.

The sixth chapter provides information on the consumption of zirconium dioxide and carbonate. The state of the main industries using these compounds is considered. Particular attention is paid to the production of ceramics from zirconium dioxide, as the most promising area for the use of ZrO2 in the future.

The seventh chapter is devoted to the prices of research products. Estimated changes in prices for zirconium dioxide and carbonate.

The eighth chapter gives a forecast for the development of the world market of zirconium dioxide and carbonate until 2028.

The target audience of the study:

    - manufacturers of zirconium dioxide and carbonate;

    - potential investors.

The proposed study claims to be a reference tool for marketing services and management decision-makers working in the market for these zirconium compounds.
