    The market has been monitored since September 2006.

    The purpose of the study is to analyze the carbon black market in Russia and the CIS countries.

    The object of research is carbon black.

    This work is a desk study. As sources of information, data from Rosstat, the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation, statistics of railway transportation of the Russian Federation, the State Customs Service of Ukraine were used; industry and regional press, annual and quarterly reports of securities issuers, as well as websites of carbon black producers.

    Timeline of the study: 1995-2021; forecast - 2022-2030

    Research geography: Russian Federation and Ukraine - comprehensive detailed market analysis; Belarus and Turkmenistan - general information about the dynamics of the market.

    The study examined the impact on the economy of geopolitical risks, the conflict in Ukraine, sanctions from Western unfriendly countries, as well as the impact of coronavirus and possible consequences.

    The report consists of 6 parts, contains 155 pages, including 28 figures, 57 tables and 2 appendices.

    The first chapter of the report presents data on carbon black production technologies and raw materials used.

    The second chapter of the report provides information on the production of carbon black in Russia and the CIS countries, the quality requirements for carbon black of various grades, and describes the current state of the largest producers.

    The third chapter of the report provides data on foreign trade operations with carbon black in the Russian Federation and Ukraine (1995-2021).

    The fourth chapter contains an overview of carbon black prices in Russia and Ukraine (1999-2022).

    The fifth chapter of the report examines carbon black consumption in Russia and Ukraine. This section presents the balance of production and consumption of these products, the sectoral structure of consumption, the main consumers, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of the largest consumer enterprises.

    The sixth chapter of the report provides a forecast for the development of the Russian carbon black market for the period up to 2030.

    The appendices contain address and contact information of the main enterprises producing and consuming carbon black in the CIS countries.

    Target audience of the study:

    - participants in the carbon black market - producers, consumers, traders;
