This report is devoted to research of ferrochrome market in the CIS and forecast of its development.
The report consists of eight chapters, contains 87 pages, including 34 Tables, 32 Figures, as well as an Appendix with the contact information of the main company-producers.
As information sources, we used data of the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia (FSSS RF), Federal Customs Service (FCS of Russia); statistics of domestic railage, data of the Statistics Agency of Kazakhstan, the State Customs Committee of Ukraine, the U.S. Geological Survey, industry conferences, handbooks , periodicals, regional press, web sites, annual and quarterly reports of companies; consultations with experts.
In the first chapter of the report, review of world market of chrome resources and ferrochrome is presented: reserves and production volumes of chrome ores, description of mined deposits, methods of production and types of the products of major mining companies, the dynamics and development trends of world market of chrome ores and ferrochrome.
In the second chapter we investigated raw materials for production of ferrochrome - the market of chrome ores and concentrates in the CIS. We also present here a summary of the technology of ferrochrome production  and the produced grades.
The third chapter presents the dynamics of ferrochrome production in the CIS (1998-2010) and data on the level of the production of the ferroalloy enterprises.
The fourth chapter is devoted to the description of ferrochrome producers in the CIS. The focus is on the supply of chrome resources, production capacity, modernization plans, markets, as well as financial indicators of economic activity.
The fifth chapter provides insight into the dynamics of export and import of ferrochrome in Russia (1995-2010), exports of ferrochrome in Kazakhstan (2005-2010), imports of ferrochrome of Ukraine (1999-2010).
The sixth chapter provides an overview of domestic, export and import prices on ferrochrome in Russia (2001-2010).
In the seventh chapter we analyze domestic consumption of ferrochrome in Russia. This chapter provides supply-demand balance of ferrochrome in Russia (1998-2010), an assessment of the structure of consumption of ferrochrome and production dynamics of Russian producers of stainless and alloyed steels.
The eighth chapter presents the CIS ferrochrome market development forecast up to 2015.
