The report is devoted to the research of current standing of market of benzene in CIS countries. The Report is composed of 7 Sections, contains 137 Pages, including 30 Figures, 68 Tables and Appendices.
Methodologically the work is a “desk study”. We have analysed a lot of information sources, first of all, data of state bodies– Federal Service of State Statistics of Russia (FSSS of Russia), CIS Inter-State Statistic Committee, Federal Customs Service of Russia (FCS of Russia) Russia), State Customs Committee of Ukraine (SCC of Ukraine), Russian domestic railage statistics. Besides, we used data of sectoral and regional print press, annual and quarterly reports of companies, as well as web-sites of company-producers.

The first Section of the report presents brief characteristics of world market of benzene (production, country-producers, prices).
The second Section of the report presents information about resources, required for production of benzene, their characteristics. Besides, the Section describes production process of benzene, as well as presents data on main suppliers of resources (petroleum and carbonaceous), directions and volumes of supplies.
The third Section of the report is devoted to production of benzene in CIS countries. The Section of the report presents statistic and estimated data on volumes of production of benzene in Russia and Ukraine. Besides, it presents quality data of the manufactured products.
The fourth Section of the report presents data on foreign trade operations in benzene in Russia for 1998-2008, Ukraine for 1999-2008, Kazakhstan and Belarus - for 2004-2008.
The fifth Section presents information about prices on various grades of benzene at Russian domestic market. Besides, it analyses data on changing export-import prices on the products in Russia and Ukraine.
The sixth Section of the report considers consumption of benzene in Russia and Ukraine. The Section presents supply-demand balance of the product, sectoral pattern of consumption, describes main consumers, as well as current standing and prospects of development of the greatest enterprise-consumers.
The seventh Section of the report presents forecast of development of Russian market of benzene in conditions of the crisis up to 2015 and projects on creation of new capacities in CIS countries.
Appendix presents addresses and contact information of enterprises, producing and consuming benzene in CIS countries.
